Why can't I link my Shopify store to my AtomicTax account?
If you are trying to connect your Shopify account and any of the details you enter into AtomicTax do not match the details for your Shopify store on Shopify's end, AtomicTax will not be able to connect. However, The information provided below will help you resolve this error
i. On your AtomicTax Linked Accounts page, you may see a message that says "The account authorization process failed or was canceled," or you may receive a message from Shopify that says "Sorry, this shop is currently unavailable."

If you receive either of the above messages, please ensure that you enter your Shopify Subdomain without any extra spaces or the ".myshopify.com" included. This is because AtomicTax has already entered ".myshopify.com" for you as shown in the screenshot below.
For example, if your Shopify store was "jumsco-5589.myshopify.com," when connecting to Shopify with AtomicTax, you would simply enter "jumsco-5589" into the subdomain text field in your AtomicTax account.
If you see the above message, it is because you previously linked this Shopify store to another AtomicTax account.
Please try the steps below:
- Check the email address in your Business Profile Section to ensure you entered the correct email address.
- Confirm which email is used for your Shopify store account to see if it is different from the one you used to sign in to your AtomicTax. It could be that you have already linked this Shopify store to an AtomicTax account using the email address.
